In Dec 2009 at The Vanguard in Newtown, THE BEATELS presented 1969 & Beyond, where they performed songs from Abbey Road & Let It Be, as well as a selection of songs from The Beatles' solo years. Once again they were joined on-stage by Stan Holroyd, playing his great collection of vintage keyboards!
The was a real treat for Beatles fans. From the first side of Abbey Road, tracks like 'Come Together', 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)' & 'Here Comes The Sun', & more, and then the entire second side! Follow that up with a solid serve of solo tracks, & it was a Xmas treat for the packed house there! |

THE BEATELS brought Beatelmania to the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Along with a collection of other great artists such as Fran Bennett (his version of Radiohead's "Creep" was the showstopper for this writer) and more, it was 2 days of "The Country meets THE BEATELS", & much fun was had by all. That is, unless you felt like dancing :)

On Dec 11 2006, THE BEATELS performed at the International Exhibition & Conference Management (IECM) 2006 conference in Singapore, to a packed house of events management companies and government officials.
The guest of honour for the evening was Mr Lim Swee Say - Minister, Prime Minister's Office. Mr Lim changed his schedule so he could stay to watch the end of the show, and even requested the shows encore song, "Hey Jude"! A wonderful festive occasion in the Meritas Mandarin Grand Ballroom, which is on Orchard Rd, a road which features one of the best Christmas decorations of any city in the world this year! When Singapore wants to party, it certainly does it in style! Thanks once again to Alvin Oon (& his lovely family) for making our trips to Singapore so much fun! |

A full house for the last show of 2005 by THE BEATELS. You couldn't squeeze another person in the joint, and people were being turned away at the door! Thanks to everyone who came to The Vanguard on Dec 30 to catch THE BEATELS presenting Beatles By Request. We took requests from everyone who bought tickets, and ended up with a very interesting mix of big hits and rare album tracks - everything from "I Saw Her Standing There" to "Helter Skelter"! Most unusual request for the night was awarded to "Long, Long, Long" (George's White Album track).
THE BEATELS hope that you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year (if you're into that sort of thing), and would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make our shows such a success in 2005. We look forward to more great nights of Beatle music with you all in 2006! |

December 8 2005 has been and gone, and there certainly has been a great deal of attention paid to the 25th anniversary of the passing of John Lennon. THE BEATELS have just completed a tour of The John Lennon Memorial Concert along the east coast of Australia, paying tribute to the musical legacy of John Lennon, from his Beatle years through to his final releases.
